More than +-150 species can be identified in a day, including the repeated call of the majestic fish eagle, which is a regular “resident” over the weekends for you to enjoy their beauty. You can book a awesome safari drive and enjoy a safari tour that will be conducted at Sandveld Nature Reserve that is located on the Free State side of the Bloemhof Dam.
The reserve that is also highly recommended for viewing of extraordinary game and bird predators, a hide equipped with a water hole offers the perfect opportunity for those keen photographers waiting to get that award winning photograph. Among the large mammals present in the reserve are the white rhino, giraffe, sable antelope, roan antelope, African buffalo, blue wildebeest, and zebra.
